About Joan
Joan Kanini is a Kenyan patriot, entrepreneur, and political leader rooted in Githunguri, Kiambu County. She is known for a simple, powerful idea she first put into the world in 2013: Kenya ni Home. It is a call to love this country enough to build it together.
As a Health Champion and AI & Digital Economy partner, Joan bridges people and progress. She is the force behind PURE SCAN, a consumer-safety app that helps Kenyans understand what is in the products they use. She mentors MSMEs, champions good governance, and speaks up for youth jobs, universal health cover, and accountable leadership.
She contested the Githunguri parliamentary seat in 2022 and is on the path again for 2027. She is independent-minded, people-centred, and ready to serve. Her standard is clear: First. Best. Or Different.
